Looking for information on the parents of Benajah Pennington b 18 Aug 1770, Grayson Co., VA. d 12 Oct 1855, Stockton, Cedar Co., MO. Benajah is also spelled as Benagah or Benaga.

Sp. is Matilda Hembree Emery m. 26 July 1814, Roane Co., TN.

Many researcher have speculated as to his father and mother may be but to date I've not seen any solid source or evidence to support any positive id of his parents.
